RBC Wealth Management Names Interim Boss For Asia Arm

has appointed Rod Ireland as the interim head of its Asia business, filling a spot left by Terence Chow who – as reported here – has left the Canadian bank. 

Ireland, who is based in Singapore, will retain his existing job as head of global markets Asia-Pacific for RBC Capital Markets.

The existing RBC Wealth Management leadership team will remain in place including:

Iggy Chong, head, enterprise strategic clients and interim market head, Greater China; 

Vivian Kiang, head of wealth planning and fiduciary services, RBC WM Asia; 

Juan Aronna, head, investment solutions and products, RBC WM Asia; and 

Kamran Azim, chief operating officer, RBC WM Asia.
